On 28th of May, I embarked on a journey to the source of river Beas, one of the most splendid yet accessible treks in all of Himachal. Accompanying me was my friend Arnab, an old classmate and whom I was seeing after eight long years. After a night's rest at Hotel Yak (Manali) we set off to our base camp at Dhundi on a car. We were ascending alongside the roaring Beas river, in disbelief that it began as a tranquil pool. Our campsite was flanked on three sides by the mighty Dhauladhar range. Glimpses of Deo Tibba and Indrasan in the dying evening light was a sight to behold.
